The Indigo Trust
The Indigo Trust is a Charitable Trust. In the past, the trustees have supported charities with an innovative approach to the criminal justice system. They are now changing the Trust's focus, to explore ways of promoting information equality among disadvantaged people and communities. They are predominantly interested in supporting projects using Information Computer Technology for development (ICT4D) in Africa. The Trust’s main emphasis is on utilising Information Computer Technology (ICT) to encourage democratic transparency and accountability. It is also interested in supporting innovative ICT4D projects in any field, including health and adult literacy. Recent grant recipients include My Society, the democracy and transparency charity. Indigo’s charity number is 1075920.
