The Headley Trust
Trustees make grants under the following headings:
Arts, heritage and conservation projects in the UK of outstanding creative
or architectural importance
Support for regional museums to purchase unusual or exceptional artefacts.
Repair work to the fabric of Anglican cathedrals and large ecclesiastical buildings of exceptional architectural merit
Fabric repair of medieval parish churches in sparsely populated and less prosperous villages
Restoration of buildings, statuary or paintings, primarily in Central and Eastern Europe, supporting the capacity of new heritage NGOs, and training the next generation of conservation and heritage professionals
Development projects in sub-Saharan Anglophone Africa, and Ethiopia.
Bursary support, particularly for artistic or technical skills training, or performing opportunities for talented young artists, including the disadvantaged or disabled.
Social welfare projects which support elderly people of limited means, especially with their housing needs, or help carers of an ill or disabled relative. Also, parenting education projects; and occasional health research into specialist areas of particular interest to the trustees
