About the Trust

The Indigo Trust was founded by Fran Perrin OBE in 1999. The Indigo Trust supports early stage organisations through flexible grant-making, commissioning research and building partnerships, to address systemic injustices.

What we fund

Our focus areas are:

  • Access to justice 
  • Racial justice 
  • Prevention of child sexual abuse 
  • Visual impairment 
  • Better grant-making
  • Women’s rights

Submission of proposals is by invitation only. We are unlikely to fund anything outside our focus areas and we do not fund or sponsor individuals or events.

Submission of proposals is by invitation only. Indigo Trust identifies relevant organisations through its diverse networks, proactive research and recommendations from grantee-partners and peer funders.
